Designed for hotel and motel operations, residential additions, sunrooms, and small living spaces, this Amana Distinctions Model PTAC offers 7,200/7,000 BTU/h of cooling power and a 3.5 kW (11,950 BTU/h) electric heater with a 20 amp power cord. With a 13.1 EER, this unit uses 208/230-volt electricity and is great for a room of about 200-250 square feet in residential and commercial applications.

This unit slides into a standard, pre-existing 16” x 42” wall sleeve and includes intuitively configured controls. New installations require a WS900QW wall sleeve and SGK01B rear grille.

  • Automatic Freeze Protection – The fan motor and electric heat strip are turned on if the PTAC unit senses the temperature below 40 degrees.

Product Discontinuation Notice

Starting January 1, 2025, new federal rules under the AIM Act will take effect to help protect the environment. This law requires switching from older refrigerants like R-410A, which can harm the planet, to more eco-friendly options like R-32. Because of this change, this product is no longer available.
